Pinnacle 1265 Litres Pharmacy Refrigerator Product Description
Pinnacle Scientific Premium Refrigerator model PPR-P-1265-2-GD
Pinnacle has developed a fan forced 1265 litre Premium Pharmacy Refrigerator that goes above and beyond with quality and functionality being offered by other manufacturers. The Premium Pharmacy Refrigerator is designed to maximise the internal storage space with intelligent shelving design. The Premium Pharmacy Refrigerator has an adjustable set point of 2-10 degrees Celsius and the high and low alarms are adjustable to suit the running conditions. The refrigerator is best suited to universities, hospitals and clinical trial organisations that have a high turnover of product. Pinnacle’s Premium Pharmacy Refrigerator has been designed to run at a higher ambient temperature of 38 degrees Celsius and is best suited to areas where air conditioning is tuned off over the weekend or at night. The PPR-P-1265-2-GD is the second largest refrigerator in this range. Pinnacle offer a five star warranty on the PPR-P-1265-2-GD giving the user peace of mind when it comes to reliability.
Cabinet Construction and Standard Features
The PPR-P-1265-2-GD has an external construction of 430 Stainless Steel and an internal liner constructed from 304 Stainless Steel. Standard features for the PPR-P-1265-2-GD include:
Digital controller with minimum and maximum temperature logging
The minimum and maximum temperatures attained inside the refrigerator are logged by the controller. The running temperature is user adjustable between 2-10 degrees Celsius. The alarm set point is also adjustable to suit desired running temperature. The factory temperature setting for the refrigerator is 5 degrees Celsius and the alarms are set at 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. The controller has a battery bank as standard to allow the temperature to be displayed during a power loss to the refrigerator. The high and low temperature alarms will activate when the set points are reached whilst there is no power on the refrigerator. This also triggers the BMS outputs to notify personnel remotely from the refrigerator.
Remote alarm contacts for Building Management System (BMS) connection
This feature is primarily used by facilities that are not staffed 24hrs a day. A set of contacts will open and trigger an alarm if there is a high temperature, low temperature or a power failure. Most often these alarm contacts can be hooked into the existing alarm system within the facility making it very cost effective. In many cases faults can occur (circuit breaker tripped etc.) after-hours and with no staff present to save product. Also see our GSM and hard wired auto dial out systems.
Cable port hole
In some cases users fit auxiliary temperature sensors. With a cable port as standard, the sensor cable does not have to run through the door seal. This feature reduces damage to door seals and also reduces unnecessary ice ups and potential service calls. See our auxiliary temperature loggers.
Fan forced cooling
Fan forced cooling ensures good air circulation and uniform temperature distribution on shelves within the refrigerator.
Coated wire shelves
Maximises air distribution inside the refrigerator.
High efficiency insulation and glass door
High quality materials ensure reduced running costs and maintain internal conditions.
A lockable door provides product security.
Allows for easy identification of product in low light areas.
The evaporator located within the refrigerator is automatically defrosted during an off cycle. The refrigerators are designed for high turnover of product.
